June Massingille, 78, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was a Logan County native,e born June 22, 1939 to the late Walter McRae and Edra Dill McRae. She was employed for 49 years with Logan County Hospital and Logan Memorial Hospital where she retired in risk management. She was a member of Post Oak Baptist Church and was on the Logan County Health Department Board.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Massingille.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeri Lynn Taylor and husband Mike of New Smyrna, Fla. and Susan Alexander and husband Loyd of Spring Hill, Tenn.; her granddaughers, Lindsey Stanfill, Jenna Avery and husband Ben, Maegan Woodlee-Hobbs and husband Cody, and Courtney Reeves and husband John David; and her great-granddaughter, Nora June Avery
Funeral services for June Massingille will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, at Post Oak Baptist Church with Bro. Nick Stamps and Bro. Bryan Jackson officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home will be held Friday, June 1, from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday at Post Oak Baptist Church from noon until the service hour.
Memorial contributions may be made to Post Oak Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
