Lawrence "Larry" Elwood Cox, 72 of Lewisburg, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at his home in Lewisburg.
He was born Sunday, Jan. 27, 1946 in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Ira Cox and the late Stella Epley Cox. He was the husband of Genevieve Hunt Cox, who survives.
He was employed by BE&K, a Vietnam Veteran, and a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Also surviving are his sons, Travis Cox of Elkton and Jamie Latham of Minneapolis; his daughter, Laura Cox of Bowling Green; his brother, Frank Cox of Frankfort; his sister, Wanda Hemsley of Chicago; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Travis Cox officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Butler County.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday, June 16, at Price Funeral Home.
