William Lasley Johnson, 79 of Lewisburg, Kentucky died on Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Hospice House of Southern KY in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He was born Sunday, July 15, 1934 in Lewisburg, Kentucky, the son of the late Virgil Marshall Johnson and the late Nannie Willhite Johnson. He was the husband of the late Lila Gibson Johnson.
He was former owner and operator for Ranger Auto Parts and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, Chris Johnson-(Alicia) of Lewisburg, KY and Mitchell Johnson-(Heather) of Lewisburg, KY, daughter, Sheila Barrow-(Jeff) of Russellville, KY; 6 grand children, Janet Wright of Russellville, KY, Courtney Jackson of Russellville, KY, Will Johnson of Bowling Green, KY, Meredith Johnson of Lewisburg, KY, Cade Johnson of Lewisburg, KY, and Jenny Brooke Johnson of Lewisburg, KY, and 3 great grand children, Chandler Jackson, Kendall Jackson, and Weston Wright.
He was predeceased by son, William Larry Johnson.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with the Rev. Sam Romines and Rev. David Jicka officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, KY.
