Arvinia Martin, 64, of Bowling Green, formerly of Todd County, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. She was born in Calhoun on May 5, 1954 to the late Estil Martin and Eda Belle Hildabrand Martin. She was employed as a nurse with the Medical Center in Bowling Green for 38 years and retired as Director of Nursing at Medco Nursing and Rehab in Bowling Green. She was a graduate of the Glasgow School of Nursing and attended Promise Land Church.
She is survived by her sons, Chipley Martin of Bowling Green and Michael Martin of Boyce; her grandchildren, Malaylah martin, Eadianna Martin and Anthony Gilbo; and her great-grandson.
Funeral services for Arvinia Martin will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Johnny Shoemake officiating. Visitation at the Funeral Home will be held Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday morning beginning at 8:00 a.m. and lasting until time of the service.
