Harold Dean Brown, 80 of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville. He was born in Rochester on March 26, 1938 to the late Albert Peyton Brown and Arlene Jones Brown. He worked in die cast at Rockwell International, was a member of Epley Baptist Church and liked to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Brown; his sons, Jimmy Dean Brown and wife Patty of Russellville and Mitchel Dale Brown and wife Brooke of Franklin; his daughter, Melissa Kay Roberts and husband Keith of Russellville; his brothers, Eddie Brown and wife Janie and Troy Brown and wife Doris, all of Russellville; his sister, Rita Nash and husband Butch of Russellvile; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Shelby Brown, and a grandson, Joshua Brown.
Funeral services for Harold Dean Brown will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Vaught and Bro. Butch Nash officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Thursday, Aug. 9, from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
