Mildred Hines, 95, of Olmstead, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018 at the Logan Memorial Hospital. She was born in St. Louis on Dec. 28, 1922 to the late Elzie Patterson and Bessie Dallas Patterson. She was a seamstress and member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Lafayette, Tenn.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Edmond Nash and Maurice D. Hines; her son, Billy Wayne Nash; and her brothers, Edward Patterson, Gleaner Patterson and Dewey Patterson.
She is survived by her sons, Benny Nash and wife Judy and Buddy Nash and wife Brenda, all of Olmstead; her daughter, Barbara Drumright of Shelbyville, Ky.; her grandchildren, Bud Nash Jr. and Billy Nash of Kingsland, Ga., Adam Nash and wife Val of Auburn; Chris Drumright and wife Melissa of Taylorsville; and Billy Warren Nash of Olmstead; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mildred Hines will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Nash and Elder Billy Moran officiating with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery in Lafayette, Tenn. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 5- 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Liberty Cemetery. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
