Kathy Rosser, 60, of Lewisburg, passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2018 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She was a Logan County native, born March 22, 1958 to Willie L. “Pap” Smith and Jo Brown Smith. She was an executive secretary with Emerson Electric and member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed car shows and was an avid UK basketball fan and avid hunter and fisherman.
She is survived by her mother, Jo Smith of Russellville; her husband, Johnny Rosser; her son, John Rosser Jr. and wife Jamie of Chandlers; her daughter, Erin Collins and husband Chris of Fort Stewart, Ga.; her sisters, Lori Court and husband Michael of Olmstead and Pam Young of Russellville; and her grandchildren, Hunter Rosser, Laynee Rosser, Carley Collins and Corban Collins.
Funeral services for Kathy Rosser will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Father Ken Mikulcik officiating with burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 5-8 pm and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the service hour.
