William ‘Bill’ Thomas Brown, 81, of Lewisburg, died on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at his residence in Lewisburg.
He was born Thursday, Nov. 5, 1936 in Lewisburg, the son of the late Scott Brown and the late Ruby Stuart Brown. He was the husband of Tommye Brown, who survives.
He was a farmer, was a National Guard veteran, and was a member of Stuarts Chapel United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are his son, Dr. Scott Brown of Hopkinsville; his daughter, Amy Evans of Knoxville; his brother, Bobby Brown of Lewisburg; his sister, Mera Dean Kennedy of El Paso; and three grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Rebecca Croslyn, Betty Jo Whitmire and Myrtle Jean Shrull.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Stuarts Chapel United Methodist Church, located at Stuarts Chapel Rd. Lewisburg, with the Rev. Ronnie Forrest officiating. Interment will be in Stuarts Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service on Friday, Sept. 7.
