Lorene Eads Baugh Walker, 102, of Central City, passed away September 8, 2018 in Greenville.
She is preceded in death by sisters Erlene and Reva, and dearly beloved first husband Lyle C. Baugh.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Walker of Central City; her son, Don Baugh (Toni) of Asheboro, N.C.; her daughter, Loretta Russell of Nashville; her grandchildren, Kevin Baugh (Deana) of Greenville, Kelly Underwood (Allen) of Glasgow, Sara Sparks of Greenville, Emily Jackson (Jay) of Nashville, Aaron Baugh (Ashley) of Greenville, Lauren Baugh of Asheboro, N.C., Alex Nelson of Cullowhee, N.C.; her great-grandchildren, Norah Underwood of Glasgow, Chloe Chanmaly of Asheboro, Addie Sparks, Dylan Baugh, Emma Sparks, and Austin Baugh, all of Greenville. Lorene loved and adored her family.
She had her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She taught at Longest Elementary and Muhlenberg Central High School. She was a member of the Central City United Methodist Church. She volunteered at the American Red Cross and was a member of the Weaving Club. She enjoyed making stained glass, woodworking, and ceramics.
A funeral service for Lorene Eads Baugh Walker will be held at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green Street, Lewisburg, with Rev. Tom Emblen officiating and interment at Fitzhugh Cemetery, Lewisburg. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home.
