Charles Larry Morrison, 76, of Adairville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018. He was a Logan County native, born Dec. 4, 1941 to the late Mancy Mayfield Morrison and Elsie Elizabeth Douglas Morrison. He was a retired self-employed stone mason and a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ since 1974. He was an avid trapper, hunter and fisherman and had the gift of gab.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jeanetta Morrison; his son, Bruce Morrison and wife Stephanie of Adairville; his daughter, Dana Stratton and husband Tony of Adairville; his brothers, Jerry Morrison and wife Teresa and Lee Morrison and wife Gail, all of Adairville; his sisters, Judy Johnson and Husband Othor of Allensville and Sue Pitts and husband Eugene of Adairville; his grandchildren, Alan-Michael Morrison, Alizabeth Martin and Dallon Stratton; and his great-grandchildren, Kristian Ortiz, Aubry Martin, Addison Morrison and Isaiah Martin.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Amanda Morrison and Colton Stratton.
Funeral services for Charles Larry Morrison will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 17, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Junior England and Bro. Tony Stratton officiating with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Sunday, Sept. 16 until 8 p.m. and Monday from 8 a,m. until the service hour.
