Lan Walker, 86, of Schley Road, Adairville, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his home. He was a Logan County native, born May 7, 1928 to the late Jewell Landon Walker Sr. and Opal Robertson Walker. He was an Air Force veteran, a farmer and member of the Adairville Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Shelva Walker; three sons, Landon Walker, Wesley Walker and Monty Walker, all of Adairville; a step-son, Rusty Burchett of Adairville; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Davis, and a step-daughter, Sherrie Weinstein.
Services for Lan Walker will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 30, at the
Adairville Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Bond and Bro. Carl Freudenthal officiating.
Visitation at the church on Friday will be from 4 p.m. until the service hour at 7 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Envelopes will be available.
