Jettie Floyd Crocker Benton, 92, of Russellville, died Sept. 26, 2018, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green. She was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Robertson County, Tenn., the daughter of the late Ervin Crocker and the late Jennie Offutt Crocker. She was the long-time owner and operator of Benton’s Personal Carehome in Russellville and was a member of the Church of God in Christ in Russellville.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Benton Sr.

Mrs. Benton is survived by her daughter, Marvinia (Charles) Neblett; her son, Timothy (Marian) Benton of Bowling Green; 22 grandchildren; and hosts of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, at First Baptist Church, Fifth and Spring, in Russellville with the Rev. Larry Ashby officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church Friday from 11 a.m. until the service hour.

Gamble Funeral Home of Hopkinsville is in charge of arramgements.
