Virginia Marvine Borders, 92, of Lewisburg, died on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at Creekwood Place in Russellville.
She was born Sunday, March 21, 1926, the daughter of the late Erie Meador and the late Gertie Stuart Meador. She was the wife of the late Thurmon Borders.
She was a homemaker and a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Frieda Pitchford - (Mark) of Bowling Green and Connie Williams of Lewisburg; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Borders of Lewisburg; her brother, James "Cookie" Meador - (Martha) of Austin, Texas; her grandchildren; Stephannie Coursey-(Patrick), Jeff Borders-(Erin), Connor Williams-(fiancee Britny), all of Lewisburg, Andy Pitchford (-Keitha) of Hendersonville; and Brett Pitchford (-Olvia) of Bowling Green; her great-grandchildren, Ross, Sloan, and Neil Coursey, Bethany, Bailey, and Emily Borders, all of Lewisburg, Aaron, Adam, and Ace Pitchford, all of Henderson, and Bryce Pitchford of Bowling Green; a niece and two nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Freddie Borders.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Bro. Glynn Copeland officiating. Interment will be in Elk Lick Baptist Church Cemetery, Lewisburg.
The family will receive friends after 10 a.m.on Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Price Funeral Home.
