Oral Alexander Meneese, 59, of Adairville, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin. He was born May 22, 1959, in Cedar Hill, Tenn., the son of the late James Holman and Occie Meneese.
He was a member of Selectman Chapel Church of Adairville. He was a sales representative for Schwan’s Consumer Brand.
Mr. Menesse is survived by his wife, Cherri Menesse of Adairville; his daughter, Devin Meneese of Adairville; his brother, Bobby Shannon of Springfield; his sisters, Mary Ann Jones of Springfield, Barbara Wells of Russellville, and Virginia Holman of Texas; and his grandson, Kash Alexander Ellis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Holman and Robert Holman.
Funeral services for Oral Alexander Meneese will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 1 p.m. at Selectman Chapel AME Zion Church with the Rev. William Washington officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time for the service on Wednesday at the church.
