Faye Crowder, 70, of Red Oak Lane, Russellville passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at her home. She was a Wake County, North Carolina native, born March 8, 1944 to the late C.L. Holman and Mildred Jones Holman. She worked as a nurse’s aid for Auburn Health Care and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Crowder and son, Leslie Crowder.

She is survived by her daughters ~ Angie Hatcher (Jack) of Adairville and Regina Valentine (Jim) of Russellville; her grandchildren ~ Steven Valentine, Tabatha Valentine, Frankie Valentine, Samantha Hatcher, Katie Crowder, Hayley D. Watkins, Krista Walker and Caitiln Polacheck; her great-grandchildren ~ Brailey Valentine, Becka Peel, Lilly Whitman and  Landon Pendleton; her two nephews ~ Steve Holman of Durham, N. C. and Dennis Vaughn of Auburn; and her niece ~ Lisa Johnson of White House, Tenn.

A funeral mass for Faye Crowder will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jojy Joseph officiating with burial to follow in Russellville Memorial Gardens.  Visitation at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home was held Sunday evening with the Rosary Service beginning at 5 p.m.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations the Logan County Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jim Valentine, Steven Valentine, Slim Whitman and Corey Gumm.
