Faye Woodward Wilson, 74, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., formerly of Logan County, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2018 at D.H.C. Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. She was a Logan County native, born July 26, 1944 to the late Robert Woodward and Annie Cox Woodward. She worked as a cosmetologist with J.C. Penny and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Roy Wilson; her son, Alan Costellow and wife Glenda of Bowling Green; her step-sons, Amilio Wilson, Scott Wilson or Roy Wilson Jr., all of Alabama; her daughter, Bonita McCoy of Russellville; her sisters, Margaret Goodman and Imogne Costellow, both of Russellville; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren;
Funeral services for Faye Woodward Wilson will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Dr. John Franklin officiating with burial to follow in Plainview Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held after 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, and on Monday from 8 a.m. and lasting until the service hour.
Memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
