Albert Collins, 75, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was a Logan County native, born Nov. 4, 1943 to the late Lee Roy Collins and Bertie Ann Briley Collins. He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra White Collins.
He is survived by his sons, Ricky Collins and Eddie Collins, both of Russellville; his step-son, Timmy Taylor of Indiana; his daughter, Tina Stanley of Russellville; his brothers, Ronald Collins and wife Renata and Gen Collins, all of Russellville; his sister, Marie Collins of Russellville; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Albert Collins will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with burial to follow in Auburn Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Sunday, Jan. 13, from 4-7 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m.
