Jackie Claudette Milam grasped the hand of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019. She was born Jackie Claudette Jenkins on Oct. 28, 1941 to Claude and Twila Jenkins (Helt).

Claudette was a retired loan officer and bank vice president, cherished wife and precious, beautiful mother and grandmother. She spent her life caring for and nurturing her family. Everyone who ever met her was a friend. She was known for her kind heart and sweet spirit. She brought joy to the world around her and she was adored by all who knew her. Her life was a blessing to her family and friends and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Denny Gardner Milam; her daughters, Dr. Jaqueline Denise Milam Austin of Clarksville and Donna Jane Johnson of Russellville, KY; two sons, who happened to be in-laws, Alan Austin and Mitch Johnson; her grandchildren, Taylor and Lindsay Johnson, Christy and Matt Hackney, Zachary Austin, and Rachael Austin. She is also survived by her sister, Doris McGehee; her brother, Gary Jenkins; and a dear life-long friend, Billy Christmas.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St. Lewisburg, with Pastor Pat VanDyke and Bro. Donnie Blick officiating. Interment will be in Beechland Cemetery, Lewisburg.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Price Funeral Home, Inc., 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg.
