Henry ‘Hank’ Horlander, 78, of Adairville, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 at NHC Healthcare in Springfield. He was a Jeffersonville, Ind. Native, born March 22, 1940 to the late Earl Horlander and Viola Pearl Kendall Horlander. He worked as a Sales Rep for Napa Auto Parts, was in the Army Reserves and was a member of the Adairville Baptist Church where he served as deacon, former youth director along with various other committees. He was also active with the Adairville Sports.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Garland Orndorff Horlander; his daughters, Holly Horlander of Columbia and Carrie Horlander of Bowling Green; his sister, Judy King of Georgetown, Ind.; his nieces, Lisa Dailey, Gina Uland and Robin Zimmerman, all of Indiana; a special pup, Lucy; and his special friends, Debbie Grider and Stacey Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Horlander and Harold Flickner, and his niece, Mary Ann Berger.
Funeral services for Henry ‘Hank’ Horlander will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Adairville Baptist Church with Bro. Michael Edwards, Bro. Mark Bond and Bro. Randall Rogers officiating with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville.
Visitation Tuesday at Adairville Baptist Church begins at 10 a.m. after being held at Summers, Kirby & Sanders Funeral Home Monday evening.
Memorial donations may be made to Adairville Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the church.
