Johnny G. Pirkle Jr., 81, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. He was a Simpson County native, born Dec. 17, 1937. He was a welder and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey Posey Pirkle; his step-son, Christopher Bell of Russellville; his step-daughters, Crystal Bell, Tiffany Bell and Brandy Bell, all of Russellville; six grandchildren; and a special friend, Margaret Lockhart of Franklin.
Graveside Services for Johnny G. Pirkle Jr. will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, at Russellville Memorial Gardens. There will be no public visitation before the graveside service.
Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
