Floyd Ashby Heatherly, 88, of North Walnut Street, Adairville, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014, at N.H.C. Health Care in Springfield, Tenn. He was a Logan County native born November 7, 1925 to the late Claude Heatherly and Gladys Mae Robertson Sharp. He was a manager with Buy Right Food Stores, a World War II Navy Veteran, and a member of Living Word Church in Adairville.

He is survived by his son ~ Tony Heatherly (Ann ) ~ Kansas City, Kan.; his daughter ~ Donna Long (Roy ) ~ Springfield, Mo.; his sisters ~ Dorothy Sharp Warren ~ Springfield, and Rena Scott ~ Adairville; his five grandchildren ~ Holly Heatherly, Gina Nelson, Courtney Marsh, Lauren Lowand and Lisa Contreas; and his four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Heatherly was preceded in death by his wife ~ Marie Austin Heatherly, his son ~ Jackie Heatherly and his brother ~ Ralph Sharp.

Funeral Services for Floyd Ashby Heatherly will be conducted at 2 p.m.  Saturday, June 28, in Living Word Church in Adairville with full Military Rights,  Pastor Phil Scott officiating, with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Adairville. Visitation at the church will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service hour at 2 p.m.

Donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the Church.
