Logan County High School junior Laren Hines has been accepted to participate in the 2021 Western Kentucky University Honor Band Festival that will be held later this month. This is the second year she has earned the opportunity to be included in this elite band.
At the WKU Honor Band Festival, Laren will work with university professors and other students from the surrounding area. Due to Covid-19, the festival/clinic is being downsized. While some things are still being decided, a culminating performance is planned, which will take place in Van Meter auditorium on the campus of Western Kentucky University.
Laren is the daughter of Christopher and Shelley Hines of Auburn.
