Twenty Logan County High School students with aspirations of possibly pursuing a future in the music world were given the unique opportunity to tour the “Home of Country Music”, aka the Opry House, in Nashville this semester.
The tour was led by Marketing & Show Coordinator for the Grand Ole OpryJaclyn Batchelor, an LCHS alumnus. Highlights included a chance to go backstage and talk shop with various music professionals concerning their careers.
Students making the trek south were Olivia Bond, Makayla Nichols, Samantha Williams, Paige Copen, Seth Harris, KK Vick, Anna Stanley, Jillian Christmas, Anistyn Cox, Jaxon Laster, Ameliya Agee, Rebecca Greer, Claire Dayton, Brennen Christmas, Cooper Gregory, Makayla Doyle, Shaunna King, and Solomon Weiss.
The event was chaperoned by LCHS vice principal Alisa Todd, counselor Amy Hallman, and the school’s Youth Services Director, Jama Madison.
