Logan County Schools have announced that Amanda Kennedy has been selected as the district's new Director of Communications and Public Relations. Kennedy is a Digital Learning Coach for Logan County Schools and has nine years of experience in education, six of which are in the high school classroom.
"I am excited to showcase Logan County Schools as the Director of Communications and Public Relations,” said Kennedy.
Kennedy has a Master of Arts in Advanced Teacher Education from Western Kentucky and an endorsement in Gifted and Talented Education. She is also a graduate of Indiana University Northwest with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education.
She replaces Maddie Rose Kirby, the first person to hold the position, who resigned to go into freelance writing, design, and webwork.
