LCHS students earn honors and certifications

Logan County High School students have been achieving both in professional growth and in event competition

At the LCCTC

Caden Brown passed all 10 certifications in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Areas of recognition are as follows: electrical systems, manual drive train and axles, brakes, engine performance, maintenance and light repair, suspension and steering, automobile services technology, engine repair, automatic transmission and transaxle and heating and air conditioning! Way to go in being work ready, Caden!

Heath Moneypenny, Dennis Smiley, Callista Pierce. Isabella Lindsey, Destiny Cannon and Anthony Cuthbertson are certified in ASE Light Maintenance

NIMS (National Institute of Metalworking Skills) Level I Measurements, Materials and Safety Certification: Lee Allen Roberson, Bradley Haley, Colin Wetton, Dakota Yell, Devon Toon, Dylan Piper, Jaden Dowell, Joe Mann, Kenith Uhles and Layton Dilliha

Art and Writing

LCHS students have received national awards and honorable mentions for the 2025 Scholastic Art & Writing Competition!

Anna Shrode received a silver key in the Drawing & Illustration category, Kaylee Brown received an honorable mention in the Painting category, and Lily Rudd received honorable mentions for three of her poems.
