Kentucky Artisans at the Saddle Factory is sponsoring a guilt challenge for all area quilters. Participants will be asked to incorporate a specific challenge fabric and a pre-determined design into the quilt. While those two requirements must be met, the way it is portrayed will be up to the quilter, so individual creativity will be unlimited.
Quilts will be due by Sept. 13, and will be subject to a ‘viewer’s choice’ form of judging to take place from Sept. 19 – Oct. 4.
Prizes will include –
· 1st place: KY Artisan Gift Certificate
- 2nd place: Quilting Fabric
- 3rd place: Quilting Notion
All quilts will be on display at the KY Artisans at the Saddle Factory from Sept. 24 through Oct. 11 (Logan County Tobacco & Heritage Festival).
Fabric and information packets are available at Kentucky Artisans at the Saddle Factory for a $6 donation and may be picked up during regular store hours (Thursday – Saturday, from 10 – 5). Contact the store with any questions you may have. Questions will be forwarded to a member with quilting experience, who will contact you.
