The annual Russellville Rural Fire Department’s community fundraiser meal and auction is scheduled for this Saturday at its main fire station on Fischer Drive in Russellville.
The always-fun event begins at 5 p.m. There will be door prizes, a kids’ bouncy, and a grand prize of $300. An adult meal costs $7 and a kid’s hot dog plate $4. An auction of many donated items will be held and live band entertainment will be provided.
“We invite you, your associates, and friends to attend and help support this activity,” Chief Cheryl Allen says. “We are asking community businesses and other interested individuals for donations for this event. This can be a unique item for the auction that evening, or a monetary donation. We will gladly accept anything you can provide and make arrangements for pickup.”
