Stevenson Elementary School 4th graders celebrated a special event as they traveled to the Extension Office and participated in this year’s Logan County Progressive Ag Safety Day on Wednesday, Sept. 16!

There was so much excitement as the students tracked from station-to-station for illustrations of the best safety procedures regarding each. The stations consisted of Electrical, Fire Extinguisher, Tractor/Mower/ATV, Bicycle, Food, Water, Sun, BUD/Flooding, Germs, and Police.

SES 4th grade teachers are Morgan Basham, Cassie Reding, and Keela Skaggs. Carol Kees, Family Resource coordinator, RJSHS Beta Club members under the direction of Tanya Mullen, parents, grandparents and volunteers assisted as well.

It took many to accomplish this great event hosted by Logan County Extension Office, and SES is grateful for all who shared their talents and time.
