Adairville will play a role in a Simpson County fundraiser Saturday.

The Square to Square Ride will be held April 23. The ride offers 62- and 46-mile bike rides between the center of town squares in Franklin and Adairville. Shorter 22-, 12- and 6-miel routes are also offered.

The fee is $40 with proceeds going to the Simpson County Literacy Center, an independent, community-based, non-profit organization for adults.

Registration is available online by going to scliteracycenter.org. Tee shirts will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. The Square to Square Ride will be held rain or shine.

The Square-to-Square Ride takes place in cooperation with the SOKY Earth Day Festival, which will also be set up on the Franklin Square all day.
