Beta Club Success

The RHS Beta Club Team, led by Science Teacher Tanya Mullen and Art Teacher Chris Holloman, squared off against 14 other schools this past week in a variety of competitions. In the end, the Panthers took 2nd place overall and had numerous individual top finishes! Congrats to the Beta Club as well as all of these competitors!

Sports Happenings                                                                                                                

The Panther Football team defeated visiting Ft. Knox is the opening round of the KHSAA Class A Playoffs. The win advances the 2nd seed Panthers to play Campbellsville at Campbellsville this Friday at 7 p.m.  

Six Russellville High School Panther football players were named to the Small School All SKY Conference Team:

First Team

Teon Morris – Defensive Line

Edward Barber – Linebacker

Javaren Robey – Linebacker

Jacob Naylor – Defensive Back

Second Team

Jacolbie Mason – Running Back

Zay Coleman – Defensive Line

Russellville Middle School Football had three players selected to try out for the Kentucky Middle School All Star Team: Camden Phillips, AJ Taylor, and Clifton Faughn.

Russellville Boys and Girls Middle School Basketball teams opened their seasons with wins against Lewisburg on Thursday. On Saturday, the boys fell to some tough competition in the West Creek Invitational, as they came up short against Christian County and New Providence. Both teams return to action on Tuesday at Adairville.
