The Kentucky-Tennessee Grain Day 2018 will be held at the Logan County Extension Office on Friday, Feb. 2, from 7:30 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Training for Commercial Pesticide use will be part of the program.
Sessions include Grain Marketing Updates by Dr. Aaron Smith of University of Tennessee Ag Economics, Weed Management and Dicamba Issue Update by University of Kentucky Crop Weed Specialist Dr. Travis Legletter, Drone Technology by Dr. Tim Stormbaugh of UK Ag Engineering, and Top Five Keys to Profitability for 2018 Corn & Soybeans by UK Grain Crop Specialist Dr. Chad Lee.
After lunch, the keynote speaker will be Greg Peterson of Peterson Farm Brothers. His topic will be “I;m Farming and I Grow It: An AgVocating Success Story.”
During breaks participants can visit the Trade Show.
