As the Russellville Marching Panthers prepare for a trip and performance at Disneyworld this spring, Director Brian Brown has revealed the new uniforms the band will be wearing.

He said, “The new uniforms arrived on Monday! Here's a sneak peak. The gray uniform will be our field commander uniform. We also have new hats and boxes. Super exciting and I can't wait to see the band in their new uniforms at Disney!

Making the trip with a large delegation of band members and chaperones will be expensive.

Band Boosters President Becky Coursey says, “At the band booster meeting, we voted on putting $11,000 of money raised by fundraisers (meant for Disney) to be put toward the trip. This will be divided evenly among those going on the trip”.

She notes that the Carpenter Foundation provided the funds for the uniforms.

The Band Boosters will hold a “Notes over Noodles” fundraiser on March 16. This fundraiser will go toward band booster expenses, such as the banquet and insurance
