Golf scramble sponsors help Crimestoppers stop crime

Crimestoppers of Russellville/Logan County raised $1,725 during its golf scramble at Rolling Hills this fall.

Secretary Jennifer Wood reports that has helped in over $2,000 being paid out for tips in helping stop crime in this area.

The organization appreciates these sponsors for their donations to the scramble: Auburn Banking Company, BB&T, Boyd Hammond Insurance, Farmers Hardware, Agape, Amtech, Duck Lick Creek Covert Scouting Cameras, Emerson Electric, Commonwealth Attorney Gail Guiling, Heimbrock, Industrial Hydraulics, Logan Aluminum, Logan Memorial Hospital, Performance Retreading, Price Funeral Home, Riley Burchett Real Estate and Auction, County Clerk Scottie Harper, Subway, Ventra Plastics, Walden Tire, Cumberland Scrap, The Harvest, Dominos Pizza, Gerald Printing, El Mocajete, and Case.

In addition to Wood, Crimestoppers board members are President Charles Dauley, Vice President Victor Shifflett, Treasurer Brandy Robinson, Donna Stuart, Clarence Gamble, Karen Hinton, Mike Humble, Eric Evans, Dr. Dewey Wood, Wendell Jackson and County Attorney Joe Ross.
