Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) will honor over 800 candidates receiving 1,354 credentials (certificates, diplomas, and degrees) at the College’s Commencement Ceremonies on Friday, May 10. The ceremonies will be held at the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center (SKyPAC).

To accommodate a large number of graduates, the college will host two ceremonies. The first event is at 4 p.m. and will honor graduates of the Arts & Humanities and Business Divisions. The second event begins at 7 p.m. and is for graduates of the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, Allied Health & Nursing, and Mathematics & Sciences Divisions.

"We honor each of our graduates for the hard work they put forth to achieve their career goals. We also pay tribute to the family and friends for their great support of the graduates, as well as to the SKYCTC faculty and staff for their commitment to student success," says SKYCTC President Dr. Phillip Neal.

SKYCTC graduates are well-prepared for the next step in their journey. Many graduates will enter the workforce at area healthcare facilities, businesses, industries, and organizations throughout Southcentral Kentucky. Others will continue their education and transfer to a four-year university.
