Long-time Russellville resident Karyn Taylor Davis died in Louisville recently. Her funeral will be Saturday in Russellville.

On June 9, 2019, the strongest woman I know left her earthly body in exchange for her heavenly one. She battled different ailments for a while but had always gotten better. This time, God said enough fighting and called her home. My mother has dealt with many obstacles in her life and overcame them all. She lost her daughter on June 10, 1995 and instead of grieving, she made sure I was coping okay. She taught me what strength truly was. She was my biggest supporter and she will be dearly missed.
Her latest illness took her within a matter of 4 days. Unfortunately, she did not have any life insurance and funds are needed for services. Homegoing service will be on June 22, 2019 from 11-1 at Jesus Church of Russellville. Gamble Funeral Home will be in charge of final expenses. This will cover transportation, dressing, casket, and service.
