On Friday, Dec. 20, Russellville Independent School District’s youngest readers (Pre-K -1st grade) received a Santa package including three wonderful storybooks to add to their home libraries!
The books included are: 1. Hey, Grandude (by Paul McCartney); 2. The Crayon's Christmas (by Drew Daywalt and Oliver Jeffers); and 3. The Gift Inside the Box (by Adam & Allison Grant).
There are many folks behind the scenes that helped make this happen: Dr. Steven Moats, Michele McCloughan, Amy Clinard, and Dr. Stacey Leggett from Western Kentucky University.
This special heart-warming project was made possible through the Russellville Reads grant.
