Logan County High School is ringing in 2020 with it some new faculty. This semester, the school welcomes back two former LCHS graduates-- returning as faculty members-- with varying degrees of experience and expertise.
Chelsea Stranz graduated from LCHS in 2011. She earned a Bachelor of Sciences (BS) in Physical Education with a minor in Health Education, from Western Kentucky University in 2015. Chelsea comes with one year of teaching experience (2018-19) at Greenwood High School. This semester at LCHS, she teaches Health. Away from teaching, Chelsea likes to go on walks, play the piano, and bake. She and her husband Matthew Stranz have been married for three years; they reside in Warren County with their dog, Orson.
Carson Zibart graduated from LCHS in 2014. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History/Social Studies from Western Kentucky University in 2019. This is Carson’s first full-time teaching assignment; he completed his student teaching experiment at South Warren High School. This semester at LCHS, Carson will teach U.S. History. Away from teaching, Carson enjoys golf and travel. He is single and resides in Auburn close to his extended family.
