Thursday, May 31 – Sunday June 3, hundreds of yard sales will be setting up along historic Highway 68. The sale stretches 400 miles from Sharpe, Ky. (just
south of Paducah) across Kentucky to Old Washington near the Ohio border. And if this isn't enough, we have now added Hwy 641 from Paris, Tenn. to Murray,
which connects with Hwy 68 at Aurora via KY 80.
Adding Hwy 641 to the 400 Mile Sale takes one through the wonderful historic town of Hazel, which boasts 10 antique shops that will all be offering
specials and sidewalk sales along with lots of yard sales, a definite “must stop”. We are encouraging Paris' and Murray's numerous businesses along Hwy 641
to also offer special sidewalk sales and discounts during the 4-Day sale. And we want to have lots of yard sales set up between Paris and Puryear and Hazel
and Murray to encourage lots of shoppers to spend money in our communities.
Love to have yard sales set up all along the route! Stateline Ranch & Home have already said they plan to invite vendors and yard sales to set up in
their parking lot. This event is a great fundraising opportunity for churches, schools, scouts, and non-profits and a wonderful way to get rid of stuff and
do a little spring cleaning.

BRIDGE REOPENED RIGHT ON TIME!
Our governor delivered as promised! The bridge across Kentucky Lake opened Friday afternoon! One can now take Hwy 68 all the way across Kentucky,
reconnecting Aurora to Cadiz just in time for the 400 Mile Sale! Awesome!!!!

Despite hot weather right now, the weathermen say the temperatures will cool down into the low 80's during the Sale. YEAH!
GAS PRICES ARE DOWN!
We delivered signs and brochures along the 400 Mile+ route on Wednesday and Friday and found prices as low as $3.35 in many of the communities. Let's hope
gas prices stay that way!
The 400 Mile Sale, which has taken place the first weekend in June for the past seven years, attracts people from all over the United States. In fact, last
year we had shoppers from 40 states including California, New York and Florida as well as Canada and British Columbia.
