Preschoolers in Logan County Schools are discovering new places to play!  All five preschool programs in Logan County Schools are getting new playground equipment, and the preschool teachers and staff could not be more excited.

Preschool students need time to run and play, and with the new playgrounds, their play will also be tied to learning as the new equipment has interactive boards which teach sound and picture recognition.

Currently, two playgrounds are completely finished with the other three in various stages of completion.  All playgrounds were slated to be complete by the start of school; however, due to the unusual amount of rain we received over the summer, completion dates have been delayed.

One thing is for sure - when the playgrounds are complete, the students will be more than ready to break them in!

Logan County currently has 135 students enrolled in its preschool programs with a potential 39 new students to join the program after five weeks of Response to Intervention classes.  If you have a preschool age child and are interested in enrolling them in one of our five preschool programs, please contact your local school.
