First Southern National Bank continues to reach out to our community, serving its members in ways that help even our youngest citizens.

FSNB employees recently treated Stevenson Elementary Kindergarten students in Jennifer Clark’s classroom to pizza, juice boxes, and holiday treats in the FSNB Board Room.

While the students were enjoying their lunch, much to the children’s delight, Santa and his elves appeared. As each child concluded telling Santa his or her wishes for Christmas, Santa gave each one a book to take home.

The children all enjoyed listening to Elf Debbie Robbins, as she read aloud from the book The Night Before Christmas

Just as the children thought they were about to board the bus to go back to school, the elves reappeared, loaded down with bags full of gifts for each student. The kids squealed with excitement as they opened their sacks filled with books, toys, scarves, and mittens.

Not only did the elves bring in gifts for the students, they also presented a box full of donated school supplies for Mrs. Clark to take back to the classroom, as well as a check to the SES Family Resource Center to use with its Angel Tree Program.

FSNB employees went out of their way to ensure each child was delighted with his or her experience, and indeed, they were.  It was an experience the children will hold dear for years to come.
