We trust that your children have had a productive, short week. Our staff members used Monday to analyze student data and to develop plans for the remainder of the school year to ensure that each student’s needs are being met.
We are already nearing the mid-point of this quarter with progress reports scheduled to go home Monday, Nov. 20. Just a reminder that you can access your child’s grades, attendance, and behavior via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you need assistance with this program, please contact Misty Latham at 270.726.8454.
We hope to see you at tonight’s home playoff football game versus Hopkinsville at 7 p.m.

Canned food drive (from Mrs. Joella Morrow)
For the past 19 years, FCCLA & FFA, along with the entire LCHS student body, have teamed up to collect over 95,000 canned foods to be donated to the Good Samaritan and the Carrico Center. These two local organizations provide food for Logan County families in need during the holiday season. We need help continuing this great tradition and making a difference in our community! OUR LCHS GOAL IS 5,000 CANS! If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Morrow, Mrs. Bridgett Hughes, Mr. Bryan Estes, or Mr. Jay Campbell.

JROTC at Nationals (from LTC Triplett)
The team had a great two days of competition this past weekend. We took 4th place in the Nation in the One Rope Bridge event. This is huge and never been done before by our JROTC unit. The kids have worked and trained hard all year and now can say they are part of the best in the nation. Schools from 18 states sent their best teams to compete and they came out winners.
