Our Logan County High School FFA recently had the pleasure of touring the facilities of Remington Seeds. Senior officers got the opportunity to learn from Chris Cutlip about seed technology. Companies who produce seeds play an important role in Kentucky agriculture, considering 48.6 percent of Kentucky farmland is used to produce crops.
Afterwards, Mr. Cutlip awarded the Logan County FFA with a generous donation. The chapter plans to use the donation to strengthen their resources in teaching students what goes into producing productive seeds.
