RHS Principal announces what is coming up after fall break

Thank you to all for a wonderful first week back of in-person classes! It was such a welcome sight to see all of our students back in the classrooms and have the chance to speak with them in an in-person manner! And… IT’S FALL BREAK! We hope that everyone has a restful break and we look forward to seeing Group A back in the building on Monday, October 12 and Group B on Tuesday, October 13!

General Reminders

• School Doors Open at 7:15 AM

• First Period Starts at 7:45 AM
• School ends for RHS at 3:00 PM 
• Wash your masks! They need to be cleaned too! 
• Maintain social distancing of 6ft or greater! 
• Wash hands regularly. 
• Be aware of potential COVID related symptoms.   
• Enjoy your Fall Break! 

Fulton Co. Game Canceled for 10/2

Russellville High School was notified Friday (10/2) at 1 p.m. that the RHS v. Fulton Co. football game, scheduled to be played in Fulton Co., has been cancelled by Fulton Co. in the interest of public health and safety.

While this was late notice, Russellville High School is appreciative of Fulton Co.'s efforts to put safety first.

RHS and Fulton Co. will work to reschedule this game for a later time in the year.

Senior Information - FAFSA

Visiting Colleges

Campbellsville University will be here to meet with seniors on Tuesday, October 1 and Wednesday, October 14 at 8:30 a.m. in the RISE. Lots of answers about applications, scholarships, and many other helpful tidbits.

Lincoln Tech will be here to meet with seniors on Wednesday and Thursday, October 14-15 at 10 a.m. in the RISE. They will provide information about program they provide and how to apply.

College Application - Yes, already! 

Time to begin the college application process.  Make a goal of applying for at least  3 colleges before fall break (10/5).  

IMPORTANT ~ You will need to set up a Parchment account to send transcripts. 

 You can pick up your registration code for Parchment in the front office of the high school.

Governor’s Scholars Applications are Due 11/2! 

Get involved in one of Kentucky’s most prestigious academic traditions! Governor’s Scholars opens many doors for scholarships, networking, and fun for students! Don’t miss this deadline and be sure that if you are interested, you are speaking with Mrs. Naylor about this awesome opportunity!
