The Logan County Chamber in coordination with the Logan County Extension Office would like to take a moment to thank everyone who attended and sponsored this year’s Agriculture Appreciation Luncheon held Thursday, March 11.

In attendance were approximately 100 local farmers and their families, agri-businesses, FFA students and supporters. Lunch was catered by the Logan County Cattleman’s.

Keynote speakers were Logan County’s own FFA members, highlighting this year’s projects and agricultural entrepreneur program. We heard stories of honey manufacturing, pinto bean production, baking, candle making and other very interesting farm to table related ventures.

Many wonderful door prizes were given, and H&H Sheetmetal won the highest bid for the country ham.

Logan County has a vibrant agricultural scene with farmland over every part of the county. With times being what they are, we do not want our farmers and agri-business to go unnoticed. We were blessed to take a moment to come together in-person to thank all those who work hard and teach our youth about the importance of agriculture.

This year’s luncheon was made possible once again by the support of our sponsors! A big thanks to H & R Agri-Power as our top sponsor! We also want to thank BB&T now Truist, Darling Ingredients, H&H Sheet Metal Fabricators, Hutson, Inc., Logan Memorial Hospital, Farm Credit Mid-America, Hopkinsville Elevator Co. Inc., Lewisburg Banking Company, Logan County Farm Bureau Federation, Moore Insurance Agency, Southern States Russellville Coop., Ami Brooks Law, PLLC., Auburn Banking Company, Carr, Riggs & Ingram, First Southern National Bank, Keith Batchelor-Edward Jones, Lora Lee Robey, Esq., LTC Connect, North Logan Conservation District, Robert L. Blackford Real Estate & Auction, Shaker Equipment Sales, South Logan Conservation District, Summers and Son Funeral Home, and Warren Rural Electric. We appreciate you all!
