Emergency!!
Unfortunately, the meeting house is coming apart and needs major repairs!! The rafters are pulling away from the wall and we are not sure exactly what to do yet. We will be calling in experts to give advise on what needs to be done and will keep you posted. Unless there are a lot of donations, we will have to use the pavilion and restroom money to fix the building. We hate to do that because we were hoping to start construction on the restrooms this winter, but the meeting house takes priority and the restrooms are in God's timing.

Healing House Ministries had wonderful services on the grounds this summer:
Red River was Truly a day of New Beginnings and Fresh starts for God's people. Below you will read a few who have shared their own New Beginning with us.
I thank God along with all my brothers and sisters that as the breeze began to blow, at each word the breeze became stronger and stronger and turned into a wind with leaves falling from the heavens out of the trees boughs and looked to me as golden drops of mercy raining down on us. Right as you were ending your prayer of gratitude to the Lord and blessings to Holy Spirit, something suddenly happened inside of me. I began to weep and and silently whispering in my prayer language with my heart wide open there was a renewing and a refilling of His Presence and love, it doesn't seem like a great big thing, but I can truly say I walked away from that place changed from the one that person that I was when I walked on. I not only was blessed by being with his people but I was blessed by His Holy Spirit for gathering there to seek Him with his children.
We are all uniting in Him to See His Kingdom Come.

Praise God,it was so wonderful to see everyone gathered there,to God be all the praise and glory!!!

Praise God from Whom ALL Blessings Flow,

Yesterday was truly a blessing and a surprise at the turnout for 808 - Do It Again Lord here in KY at the Red River Meeting house.
It was as the Lord said" 808", we experienced a beginning of the New Beginnings of KY and the surrounding states. Gathered with us yesterday were brothers and sisters from TN and IN also. Even as we felt the breeze of Holy Spirit several times yesterday, bringing a much refreshing wind, I declare even so let it be in the Spirit as Holy Spirit breathes across this state and region in His fresh, refreshing winds of change and positioning, filled with His Presence. We welcome You Holy Spirit.

Looking forward to our next time together. I was delighted for the numbers who turned out.....over 100, yeah God!!! OH and Linda Pierce prophetically drew a most awesome painting of a horse with the KY flag around it's neck running on the water....TOTALLY AWESOME Gathering of God's people,
August Service
End of summer Blackpowder shoot was enjoyed by everyone who came. It was a good day in spite of the heat which wasn't bad due to all the wonderful shade trees. Michael Ramsey and Tom Ruley were the only ones participating in the shoot, but Tom was able to help Michael with his new gun. Of course, there was plenty of good food and fellowship. Tom Ruley preached.
Annual Dinner and Meeting
As always the food was wonderful! Thank you so much to Tim Watson for being such an inspiring transition for us as we listened to his horn playing hymns as we made our way to the meeting house from the picnic area. Thank you to Justice Bill Cunningham for such a lively and educational history lesson. Also we'd like to thank him for his generous donation of his recent book, A Distant Light. Copies are available through Richard Moore. Also we want to thank Steve and Joyce Vann for providing the worship music.
Officers were voted to remain, Brent Summers and Norm Poppy were added to the Board. It was a good productive meeting.
Boy Scout Visit
One fine evening in September, a Cub Scout troop from Russellville came to visit. The youngsters were very well behaved and had wonderful questions during the history lesson, clothing lesson, and discussion on indentured servants with “Maggie”. Excitement abounded as Tom Ruley gave a weapons and gun demonstration. After which all ventured to the cemetery for self guided tours. Thank you to Frank and Carol Jarboe, Tom and Dreama Ruley for educating and entertaining our youth.

Great Awakening Sunday
On September 26th a large crowd from 1st Baptist in Russellville enjoyed a singing and worship service followed by dinner on the grounds.

October Events
Dry conditions did not hamper campers who came from five different states to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather at RRMH. We appreciate how the burn ban was respected by all. The church services were wonderful. Many thanks to Steve Matthews, Andrew Ward and Frank Jarboe for listening to the Lord and bringing us such wonderful, timely messages and our ultimate praise goes to the Lord for His wonderful presence that was magnificent in our services!
The offerings and auction brought in almost $1500.00. Hopefully, work will begin soon on the bathrooms and pavilion.
Tommy Vogle has donated a large, handmade knife (excellent craftsmanship) to be raffled off. If you would like a chance on this knife, please contact Tom Ruley 270-586-7632 for a ticket.
So many people helped with the event that it is frightening to say thanks because of fear someone will be missed. Leeke family restaurant, Cathy Poppy, Loretta Eve, Robert Adair, Richard & Darlynn Moore to name a few.
*********
Anchored Christian School had their annual history day at Red River in October. It's always a blessing to have them. Tom and Dreama Ruley gave presentations for the students.

Word of Life Church of Russellville held services October 20-22. We thank God for all the churches who feel at home here.
