Sophomore ACT Announced!

On Wednesday, Feb. 27, RHS will be giving all of the current sophomores the ACT. This will be an official test that will be of no cost to them.

These sophomores will be the first group at RHS to take the ACT via the on-line version and will pilot this means of taking the ACT. RHS juniors have already had a crack at the test, as all of them took it in October and this past Saturday, again, at no cost to them. The juniors will take the ACT again for KDE Accountability scoring on Tuesday, March 12.

Between this February test for the sophomores as well as next year when the school is able to use student waivers for the October test, RHS will have picked up the cost for students what would have cost $7,100 worth of testing charges as well as allowing them a total of three (Feb '18, Oct. '19, March '20) opportunities to get their best score while at no charge to them.

Holiday Art and Band Extravaganza

The RJSHS Musical Department, in conjunction with the Art Department, would like to welcome all to an evening of art and music this Thursday beginning at 5:30. There will be student art work on display beginning at 5:30 in the lobby of the deGraffenried Auditorium followed by musical performances by students of all ages beginning at 7 p.m.
