The 33rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Unity Walk Celebration will start early Friday morning, Jan, 18, at 8:15 a.m.
The walk will begin from a historical site at Jesus Church of Russellville, located at 637 East Fifth Street. Those participating will walk up East Fifth Street; walk around the Square, arriving upstairs of the old historical Logan County Courthouse on West Fourth/Winter Street.
An historical and educational program presentation will be held, including community leaders, pastors, churches, musicians, elected officials, businesses, organizations, parents and students from Logan and Russellville schools.
The public is invited.
