Adairville School's Open House is July 29 from 5:00-6:30. They will have free haircuts and an ice cream social in addition to being able to meet your child’s teachers, bus drivers, etc.

Adairville Principal Kristina Rice says, “The first day of school is July 31. Doors open at 7:15. Morning assembly starts at 7:30 in the gym. Tardy bell rings at 7:40. Breakfast will be available starting on the first day. We dismiss at 1 p.m. on July 31.

Olmstead, Auburn and Adairville have announced Boohoo-Yahoobreakfasts for parents of kindergarten students on their child’s first-ever day of school. Adairville’s Danielle Sircy Violette explains the concept this way:

Attention Kindergarten Parents! Please join me in my office on the first day of school for a Boohoo-Yahoo Breakfast just for you! This is your child’s very first day of school and I want you to meet all the other parents that are cheering or crying right along with you! Please stay as long as you want to and socialize, ask questions, cry or cheer!”

Be sure to read the poem about Boohoo-Yahoo published by Olmstead School in one of the pictures.
