RHS to name new Head Basketball Coach on Monday
Monday at 2:30 in the RHS Library, RHS will name its new Boys Head Basketball Coach. Former Head Coach Rex Booth left RHS this Fall to become the Principal of Edmonson Co. 5-6 Grade School. All press and community members are welcome.
RHS students save an estimated $160,000 through Dual Credit this Fall
This Fall, 64 RHS students are taking a total of 155 College Courses this Semester. Those 64 students account for roughly 21% of RHS students. When you consider that 155 Classes at an average cost of $162 per Dual Credit Class against and average per class cost for a normal college class of $1,200, it adds up to an estimated savings of $160,000+ for the Fall Semester alone at RHS. Dual Credit has been a major initiative at RHS over the past five years as the school has slowly evolved from a focus on Advanced Placement to Dual Credit offerings through partnerships with colleges such as Campbellsville University, WKU, and SKYCTC. All classes taken for Dual Credit at RHS transfer to all public universities in KY and allow students to complete the majority of their general education classes in High School.
