Logan County Schools and Russellville Independent Schools are partnering to collect donations for the flood victims in Eastern Kentucky.
All Logan County schools will be collecting donations at Open Houses, and the LC Board of Education will be accepting donations on weekdays 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The people in the flooded areas still need gift cards, bug spray, box fans, socks, underwear, rubber boots, batteries, flashlights, and extension cords.
Russellville donations can be dropped off at the R21C garage located at the RHS campus from 8:00-3:30. It is the first garage door facing the baseball field. If the garage door is closed or if you need more information, please call our Board of Education at 270-726-8405.
The first load was to leave today at 1 p.m. with other loads to follow.
